My buddy Ben looking for a chukar at the Bird Ranch. Funny in my December pic there was snow. This is January '06 and there is no snow on the ground.

This is Hoss' first pheasant retrieve in December '05. I just barely winged it and Hoss had to fight it down and didn't know what to think once he realized how big it was, but he managed to bring it in anyway.

The flush took us both by surprise I think! I did manage to hit that chukar once it quit flying around in my face and got out a bit.

This was taken on his second trip to the bird ranch at 3months old. He pointed and held all of his birds that day.

Me playing with Hoss. We were having a hard time deciding between him and another female. I think the female was the one at my feet on her side. She went off in the woods for a few minutes and came back with a live mouse. She was hard to pass up!
